About the Author

Andrea Buck Andrea has two decades of experience in writing, film development, production and marketing in the independent film sector. In 2006 she and Dee McLachlan formed The Picture Tank, a Melbourne film production company that develops and produces feature films for the international and local marketplace. In 2007 she produced The Jammed, a social thriller about human trafficking into the sex industry in Australia. As part of a formidable team she turned The Jammed into Australia’s smash-hit success story of 2007, with many local critics hailing it as “the Best Australian Film Of The Year”. Most recently she produced Who Wants To Be A Terrorist? an explosive comedy that parodies the insanity of reality TV and our obsession with terrorism. Previously she worked for 12 years between Los Angeles and South Africa writing and producing such films as The Double-0-Kid and Born Wild before returning to Melbourne where she had produced her first film, a micro-budget road thriller, Deadly Chase.
